Toys and more toys

Today it was a really great day. Zachary had preschool this afternoon and while he was gone I decided to sort the toys. We have so many toys, it's unbelievable! I like the idea of being organized and so I have all these tools to help me with that, but I suck at follow through. I sorted the toys then had to go before I could get them all put away so now they are just scattered all over the floor. How frustrating for me. I will get them all picked up though and so that will be a great feeling!

Okay, so you've gotta know I wasn't serious. It can't always be about you. Therefore I don't get it. So I just want you to know that I don't have the skills to cut and paste your picture into the group photo. I was making a joke about doing that. I don't plan on altering the photo at all. You also need to understand that If I'm taking a group photo, I'm not intentionally taking a picture of you. I know it must seem like that. You are the focus because you don't like having your picture taken. But you're not. The opportunity to take a photo presents itself coincidentally while you happen to be there. I don't recall taking photos of you with deliberation of "oh, there's that girl who hates having her picture taken, let me take pictures, please." And most importantly(sarcasm here)I'll just focus only on her. Please. Give me a break. I don't know what you would have me do. YOU ARE IN A GROUP PHOTO. I know you don't like having your photo taken. So why then do you make that the emphasis of our conversation. You see me with my camera-you say, I don't like having my picture taken. Okay, that just makes me WANT to take your picture even more. At Kidstuf, I'm going to take pictures and if you happen to be in them you have to know that you aren't the focal point of the shot. I mean you HAVE to know that. Unless you're so self centered. Okay now I'm just being rude. But that's why I'm here. And not there taking your picture:)

Memories

With each passing day, I come upon something new that happened when I was a kid. These aren't earth shattering things, but still I find entertaining when I think about my childhood/young adulthood.

I remember one day I was at the pool with Heather Lane and Brian Finch was there as well with a buddy of his. Heather and I were splashing and pushing Brian into the pool and we got in trouble by the lifeguard. Her and I were talking and the lifeguard came up to us, let us finish our conversation and then explained to us that what we did was wrong. The lifeguard was Kim Karolczeks brother-I can't think of his name. Just the things I remember.~emily
